Emir Sulu-Gambari Commends President Tinubu for Reappointing Dankaka as FCC Chairman

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has expressed his profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for reappointing Hajia Muheeba Faridah Dankaka as the Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

In a statement issued from his palace, the respected monarch described the reappointment as a well-deserved recognition of Hajia Dankaka’s dedication, competence, and remarkable track record in service. He noted that her continued leadership of the FCC was not only a personal honour to her but also a testament to the President’s commitment to rewarding excellence and merit in public service.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari praised Hajia Dankaka for the reforms, transparency, and fair representation she has championed during her tenure, aligning her efforts with the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration. He further stated that her reappointment reflects the confidence of the Federal Government in her ability to further advance the Commission’s mandate of ensuring equitable distribution of positions and opportunities across all states and regions of Nigeria.

The Emir reaffirmed the support of the traditional institution in Kwara State for both the Federal Government and the FCC leadership, expressing optimism that Hajia Dankaka would build on her previous achievements and continue to uphold the principles of fairness, justice, and unity in the discharge of her duties.

He also called on Nigerians to rally behind appointees who demonstrate genuine commitment to national development, stressing that such individuals are vital to fostering peace, inclusiveness, and cohesion in the country.
