A disturbing real-life incident has gone viral after a housewife was allegedly attacked by her husband’s side chick with a razor blade, leaving her with deep facial injuries.
The injured woman appeared live on Agidigbo FM’s Kokoro Alate program hosted by Oriyomi Hamzat to narrate her ordeal.
Her Story
The wife explained that she previously lived with her husband in Lagos, but during pregnancy, he asked her to return to Ibadan to give birth.
After delivery, when her rent was about to expire, she reached out to her husband for financial support, but another woman often picked or interfered with her calls.
Determined to sort her rent, she traveled to Lagos with her child. She first stayed at a friend’s place, later visited her mother-in-law (who gave her ₦50,000), and then went to meet her husband for the balance.
The Attack
According to her, while preparing to leave after seeing her husband, a lady suddenly started cursing her. Before she could respond, she felt blood gushing from her face — she had been slashed with a blade.
The wife further revealed that:
Her husband, identified as Afolabi Saheed AY from Ogbomosho, lives with the side chick and her friends.
After the attack, he reportedly submitted himself for arrest but allegedly instructed the side chick to flee.
Although first arrested in Ibadan, he was later released under suspicious circumstances. She claimed police officers told her she had “no right to visit her husband in Lagos knowing he had another woman,” hinting at bribery.
Current Situation
The case has now been transferred to Lagos State Police Command.
The wife, still carrying visible injuries, is seeking justice with the help of Oriyomi Hamzat
The husband is said to be currently on the run.
