President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Kaduna State on a one-day working visit, marking his second trip to the state this year.
The President touched down at the Kaduna International Airport around 1 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was warmly received by Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, alongside Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, ministers, senators, and other top government officials.
During the visit, Tinubu is expected to attend the wedding ceremony of Nasirudeen Yari and Safiyya Idris. Nasirudeen is the son of former Zamfara State governor and current Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdul’aziz Yari.
The President is also scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to Aisha Buhari, widow of former President Muhammadu Buhari, at the Buhari family residence in Kaduna.
This marks Tinubu’s second visit to Kaduna in 2025. His earlier visit in June saw him commission key projects, including:
-
The Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development, Rigachikun, Igabi LGA.
-
The 300-bed Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital, Millennium City.
-
A fleet of 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses aimed at boosting eco-friendly public transport in the state.
The President’s latest visit underscores Kaduna’s growing significance as a hub for both political and developmental activities.
