Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has commended Hon. Bello El-Rufai, the member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, for his exemplary service and dedication to legislative duties.
During a recent event, Governor Sani reflected on their shared history in the National Assembly, where Bello El-Rufai served as his Senior Legislative Assistant (SLA) while Sani was a senator from 2019 to 2022. Sani expressed confidence in El-Rufai’s continued impact on national legislation.
He specifically highlighted their collaboration on the state police bill, noting El-Rufai’s ongoing advocacy for the measure in the House. “Because Bello El-Rufai was my coworker in the National Assembly, I don’t want to make things personal here,” Sani stated. “He is performing exceptionally well… my SLA… and I have no doubt that he will go far. He is making us proud by accomplishing so much.”
Sani added that El-Rufai contributed significantly to sponsoring the state police legislation during his Senate tenure and has since “cleaned the House of Representatives and created the legislation.”
The governor emphasized that the entire state takes pride in El-Rufai’s achievements, underscoring his role in advancing key reforms.
