Vice President Kashim Shettima attended the 31st Nigerian Economic Summit on Monday in Abuja, joining top government officials, industry leaders, and traditional rulers.
Among the attendees were Finance Minister Wale Edun, Minister of Budget and Planning Atiku Bagudu, captains of industry, members of the National Assembly, and the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido.
The summit, themed “The Reform Imperative: Building a Prosperous and Inclusive Nigeria by 2030,” comes at a pivotal moment in the country’s development, with major reforms already influencing Nigeria’s economic trajectory.
A key focus of the event is forging a national consensus on reforms aimed at balancing stability with inclusive growth. The summit also provides a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration, with the goal of accelerating Nigeria’s transformation and securing a prosperous and equitable future for all citizens.
