On Thursday night, October 16, 2025, members of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) held a closed-door meeting at the Kebbi State Government House in Birnin Kebbi, chaired by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma. The gathering, attended by governors elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC), focused on addressing critical national issues and internal party matters.
Although APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda was in Kebbi, he did not attend the meeting, as reported by Channels TV. Yilwatda noted his presence was also for the inauguration of the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu Movement for Continuity State Secretariat.
He emphasized the party’s commitment to unity, good governance, and the Renewed Hope vision for Nigerians, stating that the governors would continue deliberations over the next two days to tackle pressing concerns.
