On October 15, 2025, Dr. Adebowale J. Adetayo, a lecturer in the Department of Information Resources Management at Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, Ogun State, was recognized for the second consecutive year as one of the world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier.
The ranking, based on Elsevier’s 2025 Scopus database update, evaluates nearly seven million researchers across 22 fields and 174 sub-fields using metrics like citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and a composite c-score.
Dr. Adetayo described the recognition as a “humbling validation” of his dedication, collaborative efforts, and curiosity-driven work.
