Nigeria’s women’s national rugby league team, the Green Falcons, made a stunning debut at the Women’s Rugby League World Series, defeating Ireland 10-0 in the semi-final in Canada. Fedelia Omoghan scored Nigeria’s first try, igniting celebrations, while Rachel Iliya, supported by Shondell Akhabue, secured the second try with a powerful run through the Irish defense.

The victory propels the Green Falcons into the grand final against Fiji, showcasing Nigeria’s growing prowess in international rugby. Representing Africa with teamwork and determination, the team has inspired a new generation of athletes.
