FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has arrived in Dubai, UAE, to attend the 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors’ Forum.

According to his aide, Lere Olayinka, Wike was received by Nigeria’s Consul General in Dubai, Zayyanu Ibrahim, along with officials from the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
At the summit, Wike will lead a panel discussion on Tuesday, where he will speak about the Federal Capital Territory and engage with city leaders from around the world.

Organised by the Brisbane City Council, the 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit (2025APCS) brings together mayors, city executives, business leaders, and young professionals to explore global collaboration and investment opportunities.
This year’s event, themed “Collaborate, Inspire, Transform,” will focus on connectivity, sustainable urban development, and improving the quality of life in cities.
