The Federal Government, through the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), has released the list of candidates shortlisted for the upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) for recruitment into four paramilitary agencies.

The announcement, signed by the board’s secretary, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril, was made on Wednesday in Abuja. The affected agencies include the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
According to the statement, applicants can check their status beginning Thursday, October 30, 2025, by visiting the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng. Shortlisted candidates are advised to note their CBT centres, dates, and times as indicated on the portal.
The board also cautioned applicants to disregard fake recruitment messages and ensure they use only the official CDCFIB website to avoid being scammed.

Earlier in August, the Nigerian Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board confirmed that over 1.9 million Nigerians had applied for the recruitment exercise before the portal closed on August 11.
