The Minister of Livestock Development, Mr. Idi Maiha, has expressed readiness to partner with the Edo State Ministry of Livestock Development to transform the state’s livestock sector into a regional hub for red meat, poultry, piggery, goats, and cattle.
Maiha made the pledge after a presentation by the Edo State Commissioner for Livestock Development, Prof. Omorodion Ikpomwosa, during a meeting in Abuja.
He also reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to support Edo State in rehabilitating its cattle ranches in Igarra and Ubiaja, following his inspection visit to the state earlier in the year.
