LAGOS BUSINESS LEADERS GATHER FOR INAUGURAL Q5 PARTY.

Lagos’ business community came together on Thursday, December 11, for a refined night of networking and reflection at the maiden edition of the Q5 Party, hosted at Queens Park, Oniru. The exclusive gathering welcomed over 350 business leaders, including chief executives, founders, senior managers and their teams, creating an atmosphere that blended professional camaraderie with year-end ease.

The event was curated by Events Architects Ltd under the leadership of its Chief Visionary Officer, Funmi Victor-Okigbo. Built around the concept of “Q5,” the evening was designed as a moment beyond the traditional four business quarters — a symbolic space for leaders to unwind, take stock of the year’s journey and mentally prepare for what lies ahead.

Unlike typical end-of-year corporate events, the Q5 Party placed emphasis on meaningful connection rather than formality. One of the evening’s defining moments saw CEOs rise together for a unified toast, acknowledging the hurdles overcome during the year and expressing optimism for the future. The gesture set a thoughtful, unifying tone for the rest of the night.

Attendees enjoyed a carefully planned programme featuring live performances, an elegant multi-course dinner and a wide selection of beverages. These elements fostered easy interaction, encouraging conversations across industries. The night was further enlivened by interactive sessions, surprise moments and giveaways, before seamlessly flowing into a lively after-party that kept guests engaged well into the night.

The event drew a diverse mix of influential figures from Nigeria’s business and creative sectors. Guests included Kennedy Ekezie of Kippa, Great Nwakaibeya of GTI Rides, Kemi Okoya of Privado Luxury, Segun Okubanjo of Obsidian, Buchi Ajufo of Credential Communications, Atim Ukoh of Afrolems, Dare Herald of Kokopelli Africa, Eromosele Adene of ABENOL Foundation Ltd/GTE, Bola Balogun of Glam Brand Agency, Adaeze Okoye of Perfectly Planned Productions, Titi Fashola of Spazio Ideale, Ada Armstrong of StartupHR Africa, Jide Sipe of the Bank of Industry, and Levi Adewunmi of Bridges Entertainment, alongside teams from SoMe Solutions and other organisations.

Representing a wide range of industries and company sizes, guests shared a common focus on innovation, collaboration and sustainable growth. The black glamour dress code added a polished aesthetic to the evening, enhancing the venue’s refined ambience.

With a strong first showing, the Q5 Party has positioned itself as a distinctive end-of-year platform — one that allows business leaders to celebrate achievements, appreciate their teams and step into the festive season with renewed purpose and confidence.
