Senate President Akpabio Urges Nigerians to Embrace Peace, Love, and Unity This Christmas

ABUJA – The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Nigerians, particularly Christians, calling on everyone to promote peace, love, and unity during the festive season.

In a message released Wednesday night in Abuja, signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio emphasized the importance of kindness, generosity, and helping those in need at Yuletide.

He noted that Jesus Christ’s life embodies peace, love, and generosity, and that Christmas should be a time of joy and celebration.

“On behalf of my family, constituents, the Senate, and the entire 10th National Assembly, I warmly celebrate our Christian faithful on this joyful occasion of Christmas,” he said.

Akpabio also invited Nigerians of other faiths to join in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, urging everyone to show love, tolerance, and compassion. “Let us all strive to be each other’s keeper and extend kindness beyond the festive period,” he added.

He further encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful and resilient despite challenges, praying for peace, unity, and progress across the nation.

Expressing confidence in the country’s direction under President Bola Tinubu, Akpabio called on citizens to continue supporting the government for a brighter future.
