The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, has expressed confidence that Nigeria will experience peace and prosperity in the year ahead.
In his New Year message, Adegbite said God would open a new chapter for the nation, stating, “The Lord will do a new thing for Nigeria, and everyone will see it and rejoice.”
He emphasised that peace is the bedrock of national development, explaining that no meaningful progress can occur without it.

According to him, peace leads directly to prosperity, adding that Nigeria is destined to move “forward ever, backward never.”
Adegbite also urged Nigerians to consistently pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration, calling for public support toward the effective implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at national transformation.
He disclosed that the first batch of Christian pilgrims has already travelled to the Holy Land, where they are praying for Nigeria’s peace, unity and prosperity.

He concluded by sending goodwill messages to President Tinubu, the Vice President, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and all Nigerians, wishing them a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
