95 Princes and Princesses Seek Awujale Stool from Fusengbuwa Ruling House
A total of 95 princes and princesses from the Fusengbuwa Ruling House have expressed interest in ascending the throne of Awujale of Ijebuland.
The announcement was made by the Olori Ebi of Fusengbuwa Ruling House, Otunba Jadiara Lateef Owoyemi, during the Nomination Meeting held at Bisi Rodipe Hall, GRA, Ijebu Ode. Other notable figures in attendance included the Deputy Olori Ebi, Otunba Ajidagba, and Chairman Chief Fassy Yusuf, among others.
Otunba Owoyemi, a former ICAN President, explained that the names of candidates who successfully passed the initial screening would be submitted to the Afobajes. The Afobajes are then tasked with selecting one candidate to be presented as the next Awujale to the Ogun State Government for final approval.
He added that anyone with objections to the process could formally register their grievances with the government.
