Renowned Nigerian gospel artist Bunmi Akinnaanu Adeoye, widely known by her stage name Bunmi Omije Ojumi, has passed away.
The news of Bunmi Omije Ojumi’s death was first shared on January 13, 2025, by the Instagram blog @oloriebiblog_, and other online platforms have since begun reporting the loss.
Fans may recall that in October 2025, Entertainment Region highlighted that Bunmi Omije Ojumi went viral as she struggled with a swollen leg. In a widely circulated clip, the singer was seen at church receiving prayer and healing from a pastor, prompting many to lift her up in their prayers.
Sharing a photo of the late singer, @oloriebiblog_ wrote, “Breaking news: gospel singer Bunmi Akinnaanu, popularly known as Omije Ojumi, has passed away. May God rest her soul.”
