OSIMHEN SCORES 200TH CAREER GOAL IN GALATASARAY’S 4-0 WIN

Victor Osimhen achieved a major career milestone on Sunday as Galatasaray secured a commanding 4–0 win over Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Nigerian striker scored the 200th goal of his professional career, bringing his tally to 165 goals at club level and 35 for the Super Eagles. Osimhen played a central role in Galatasaray’s performance and was named Man of the Match for his efforts.

Galatasaray struck early, taking the lead in the seventh minute when Kayserispor defender Aaron Opoku inadvertently turned the ball into his own net while defending a dangerous cross.

Osimhen then doubled the lead in the 26th minute after earning a penalty, calmly converting from the spot to mark his landmark goal.

After halftime, the forward continued to influence the game. Around the 60th minute, he orchestrated a counterattack that led to Gabriel Sara scoring Galatasaray’s third goal. Mauro Icardi later converted another penalty to seal the 4–0 victory.

Osimhen was substituted in the 82nd minute after an impressive display that included a goal, an assist, seven shots on target, two clear chances created, and 88 percent passing accuracy.

The win strengthened Galatasaray’s hold atop the Super Lig table, while Osimhen’s milestone reinforced his reputation as one of Europe’s most impactful African forwards this season.
