Troops of the Joint Task Force North East, Operation HADIN KAI, intercepted a Toyota pick-up truck carrying three suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP members in Borno State.

The operation, which occurred on Monday around 8:30 a.m., led to the recovery of large textile fabrics reportedly used by terrorists to make uniforms for their operations. These uniforms are part of their strategy to identify members during attacks.

In addition to the fabrics, troops seized 20 Hilux tyre tubes, motorcycle and bicycle spare parts, cutlasses, three concealed mobile phones, and several tyres from the vehicle.

The interception is believed to have taken place along the Magumeri–Gubio road in Borno State. Security sources confirmed the operation as part of ongoing efforts to combat terrorist activities in the North East.
