The son of President Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, has called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and continue supporting his father’s administration, saying the country is being steered in a new direction.
In a viral video circulating on social media, Seyi expressed confidence in the President’s leadership, noting that ongoing reforms are setting Nigeria on a path it has never experienced before.
“We’re asking you all to have faith in Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu. He is already driving this country in a direction this country has never seen,” he said.

He added that he constantly prays for his father’s success in office and for a possible second term, expressing optimism about the long-term benefits of the administration’s policies.
“I continue to pray for his life and for his second term,” he stated.
Defending the government’s reforms despite current economic challenges, Seyi said the President chose to confront deep-rooted structural issues rather than ignore them. According to him, the administration is focused on fixing long-standing problems to secure a better future.
“This is a man who saw the cracks and decided to fix them instead of leaving them for the next person,” he said.
He explained that although the reforms may be difficult, they are necessary to build a stronger foundation for future generations, ensuring a more stable and prosperous country.
However, the administration’s policies, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy, have led to a rise in the cost of living, with many Nigerians expressing concerns over increasing hardship since the decision was implemented.
