City Boy Movement Members Share Rice to Nigerians in Traffic Amid Growing Political Activity
A video making rounds online shows members of the City Boy Movement distributing bags of rice to Nigerians stuck in traffic, drawing mixed reactions across social media.
The group, known for promoting the policies of Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, has been gaining visibility, especially among young people. It is also backed by prominent figures, including Seyi Tinubu, Obi Cubana, and Cubana Chief Priest.

In the video, members of the group are seen walking through traffic with bags of rice, handing them out to motorists and commuters. Some of the recipients appeared excited and grateful as they received the food items.
Although President Tinubu has not officially declared his intention to run for a second term, several groups, political figures, and public personalities have already begun showing support for him ahead of 2027.
At the same time, opposition pressure is building, with figures such as Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rotimi Amaechi reportedly working towards challenging the current administration in the next election cycle.
The development reflects the early buildup of political activities and alignments as Nigeria gradually moves toward the 2027 general elections.
