Authorities confirmed on Monday that the ill-fated aircraft, a Cessna 208 Caravan operated by CityLink Aviation, went down on the outskirts of the city while en route from Yei to Juba International Airport.

Al Jazeera reports that the crash claimed the lives of 13 passengers and the pilot, leaving no survivors.
According to South Sudan’s Civil Aviation Authority, preliminary findings suggest that poor weather conditions and low visibility may have contributed to the tragedy.
