Celebrity businessman and socialite Cubana Chief Priest has received public encouragement from Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following his unsuccessful bid to secure the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives ticket in Imo State.
In a message shared on Instagram Stories, Seyi Tinubu urged him not to be discouraged by the political setback, adding that setbacks can sometimes lead to better opportunities in the future. He also praised Cubana Chief Priest’s potential and encouraged him to remain focused.
“Bro, sometimes by losing a battle, you find a new way to win the war. Keep your head up Cubana Chief Priest. We know what you are capable of achieving,” he wrote.
Cubana Chief Priest later reposted the message on his own Instagram Story, acknowledging the show of support.
The socialite had contested the APC primary for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general elections but lost to incumbent lawmaker Canice Moore Nwachukwu, who secured the party’s ticket for another term.
