APC PRIMARIES: OYERINMADE CLINCHES VICTORY IN ODIGBO, ILE-OLUJI, OKE-IGBO CONTEST

Investor and business expert Mathew Oyerinmade has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the House of Representatives seat in the Odigbo/Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Federal Constituency of Ondo State.

He recorded a landslide victory with 12,744 votes, defeating other aspirants including Sunmisola Ajayi, Festus Adefiranye, Olutunji Felder, Olumoyegun Olugbenga, and Iroju Ogundeji, who scored significantly lower votes.

The result was announced by the chairman of the National Assembly Primary Committee, Iboroma Dabibi, who confirmed Oyerinmade as the winner after the collation of votes from the constituency.

Following the primary election, party officials urged members to unite ahead of the general elections and focus on strengthening support for the APC and its candidates at all levels.

The committee praised the conduct of the exercise, describing it as peaceful, transparent, and a reflection of internal democracy within the party.

It also commended party leaders and stakeholders in Ondo State for maintaining order and ensuring a smooth electoral process throughout the primaries.

Officials further noted that the election results were collated and announced in line with the Electoral Act 2026 and other relevant party guidelines.
