The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the list of candidates who emerged victorious in its primaries for the House of Representatives and the State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The list, signed by the Lagos APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, shows that 24 candidates secured tickets for the House of Representatives, while 40 candidates emerged for the State Assembly elections.
Among those who clinched the House of Representatives tickets are James Abiodun Faleke for Ikeja Federal Constituency, Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa for Agege Federal Constituency, and Babajimi Benson for Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
Others include Muftau Egberongbe (Apapa), Moses Olanrewaju (Amuwo-Odofin), Adeyemi Alli (Mushin I), Moses Oluwatosin Fayinka (Mushin II), and Fuad Kayode Laguda (Surulere I).
Lanre Okunnola emerged for Surulere II, while Fuad Atanda-Lawal won Eti-Osa. Bello Monsuru Oloyede secured Oshodi-Isolo II, and Kolade David Alabi clinched Somolu.
Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo won Ifako-Ijaiye, Bolaji Kayode Robert secured Ojo, while Paul Abioye Kalejaiye emerged for Ajeromi-Ifelodun. Dolapo Badru and Kayode Moshood Akiolu clinched Lagos Island I and II respectively.

In Alimosho, Olabisi Adebanjo emerged as the only female candidate among the 24 House of Representatives flag bearers. Adebayo Balogun secured Ibeju-Lekki, Taiwo Aiyedun won Oshodi-Isolo I, while Dele Osinowo emerged for Kosofe.
Segun Adeniran Onilude clinched Badagry, Wale Raji secured Epe, and Adekunle Omolaja won Lagos Mainland.
For the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda emerged for Apapa I, while Musibau Lawal secured Apapa II.
Barakat Bakare-Odunuga won Surulere I, Damilola Ayinde-Marshall emerged for Surulere II, and Oluwagbemiga Abiola secured Agege I.
Other winners include Saheed Bankole (Eti-Osa I), Gbolahan Yishawu (Eti-Osa II), Oladipo Olayinka Ajomale (Oshodi-Isolo I), and Mayowa Alakija (Oshodi-Isolo II).
In Ikorodu, Toyin Gafar and Moshood Aro emerged for Constituencies I and II, while Orekoya Abiodun and Moruf Alli-Balogun secured Somolu I and II.
Temitope Adedeji Adewale and Rasheed Lanre Makinde won Ifako-Ijaiye I and II, while Oluwaseun Adebisi Ege and Suraju Tijani emerged for Ojo I and II.
For Ikeja, Adedamola Kasumu and Adeseyi Lawal clinched the tickets for Constituencies I and II. Saad Lukmon Olumoh won Ajeromi-Ifelodun I, while Sabur Akanbi Oluwa secured Ajeromi-Ifelodun II.
In Lagos Island, Lara Olumegbon-Lawal emerged for Constituency I, while Yusuf Nurudeen Abiodun won Constituency II. Olatunji Lukmon Jimoh-Orelope and Joseph Kehinde secured Alimosho I and II respectively.
The party said the release of the list reflects its ongoing preparations for the 2027 general elections, following primaries conducted across the state.
Party leaders have also reiterated their commitment to a transparent and peaceful process, warning against violence and anti-party activities during the selection exercise.
The emergence of Mudashiru Obasa for Agege Federal Constituency is expected to draw particular attention, given his influence in Lagos politics and the state legislature.
