Billionaire Businessman Allegedly Stabbed to Death by Son in Abuja
A tragic incident has reportedly occurred in Abuja after a billionaire businessman, Chief Godwin Chinedu Adimike, was allegedly killed by his 21-year-old son following a heated argument at their residence.
According to reports circulating online, the incident happened on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the businessman’s home located on Hassan Adamu Street in the Guzape area of the Federal Capital Territory.
Sources claimed that the deceased was allegedly stabbed multiple times by his son, who is said to be currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The argument was reportedly linked to money-related issues, with the young man allegedly accusing his father of being stingy despite his wealth. He was also said to have compared his situation with that of his friends, claiming that their parents provided expensive cars and financial support for them.
The businessman, according to reports, criticised his son over what he described as an extravagant lifestyle and poor financial habits.
The disagreement reportedly escalated into violence, during which the suspect allegedly stabbed his father three times.
Chief Adimike was said to have died from the injuries sustained before help could arrive.
Reports also alleged that the suspect had returned from a nightclub earlier that day with two ladies, who were reportedly present during the incident.
The suspect is currently said to be in police custody while investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the killing.
