A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam, has threatened to walk naked on the streets of Osun State if justice is not served over the death of a teenager in Ilesa.
The lawmaker, who represents Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency, expressed outrage over the incident and called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death.

Salam said the conflicting accounts surrounding the incident have raised serious concerns among residents and insisted that those responsible must be brought to justice.
According to him, if the truth is not established and justice is denied, he would be left with no option but to stage a naked protest to demonstrate the depth of his anger and disappointment.

He urged security agencies and relevant authorities to ensure that a transparent investigation is carried out, stressing that the life of every citizen must be protected and that no family should be made to suffer such a painful loss without accountability.
The incident has generated reactions from residents and concerned groups, with many demanding justice for the deceased teenager.
