Governors serving their first term under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are holding a closed-door meeting at the Kebbi State Government House to discuss issues affecting the party and national development.

The meeting is being chaired by Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, who is also the Vice Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF). Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, is hosting the gathering.

A total of 18 APC governors are participating in the meeting, with representatives from states including Sokoto, Kaduna, Jigawa, Plateau, Delta, Ekiti, Taraba, Ondo, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Edo, Benue, Kogi, and Enugu in attendance.

Governors from Cross River, Niger, and Katsina states were unable to attend the meeting but reportedly sent their apologies.
Journalists are on standby at the Government House as officials are expected to brief the media after the closed-door deliberations conclude.
