‘DELETE THE VIDEO’: CANADA-BASED DOCTOR WARNS CARTER EFE OVER CRYING VIDEO AFTER US DENIED HIM VISA (VIDEO)

Canada-based Nigerian medical doctor, Dr. Zo, has advised popular skit maker and singer Carter Efe to take down a recent video discussing his United States visa application, warning that it could negatively affect how immigration officials assess his case.

In a video posted on social media, Dr. Zo explained that he deliberately chose not to play Carter Efe’s clip in full to avoid drawing further attention to it or making the situation worse.

He said his public comments were not meant to criticise the entertainer but to educate others about the importance of being careful with what they post online while applying for visas.

According to Dr. Zo, U.S. immigration authorities now pay close attention to applicants’ social media activities, and certain posts could be interpreted in ways that may affect visa decisions.

He cautioned that content appearing to suggest desperation or an intention not to return home after entering the United States could raise concerns during the visa assessment process.

Dr. Zo also dismissed suggestions that influential Nigerians, including Seyi Tinubu, could sway decisions made by U.S. consular officers, stressing that visa approvals are determined solely by immigration officials.

Sharing his personal experience, he noted that U.S. immigration procedures have become stricter over the years, with travellers now facing more detailed questioning than in the past.

Despite expressing concern over the video, Dr. Zo praised Carter Efe for his hard work and wished him success, urging him to delete the post to avoid any possible misunderstanding by immigration authorities.
