Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have disrupted a suspected terrorist supply network after intercepting suspected Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) logistics operatives in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.

The operation was carried out during a farm protection patrol by personnel of the 19 Battalion (Motorised) alongside troops from the 25 Brigade Garrison.
According to security reports, the troops encountered two individuals believed to be transporting supplies intended for terrorists along Kauji Road. On noticing the advancing soldiers, the suspects reportedly abandoned their bicycles and the items they were carrying before fleeing into nearby bushes.

Although the troops pursued them, the suspects managed to escape.
Items recovered at the scene included two bicycles, five cartons of energy drinks, one carton of milk, one carton of soft drinks, two cartons of veterinary medicines and a blue canopy.

The recovered materials have since been taken into military custody as investigations continue to determine their intended destination and any possible links to terrorist activities.
