Osinloye Family Bids Farewell to Beloved Matriarch, Mrs. Kofoworola Aduke Osinloye
The Osinloye family has laid to rest its revered matriarch, Mrs. Kofoworola Aduke Osinloye, who was born on October 8, 1937, and peacefully passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 88.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Osinloye was remembered as a woman of deep faith, compassion, dignity and unwavering commitment to her family. Her life of service, love and sacrifice leaves behind a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations.
As announced by the family, a Service of Songs was held at The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos, while the Wake-Keeping, Funeral Service and Interment took place in Ode Remo, Ogun State, on Friday, July 17, 2026. Family members, friends, associates and sympathisers gathered in large numbers to celebrate her remarkable life and pay their final respects.

The Publisher, Management and Editorial Board of Headlinenews.News, together with members of the Old Girls’ Queens College (OGQC), have extended their heartfelt condolences to the entire Osinloye family, particularly to Mrs. Kunbi Osinloye-Amachree, an esteemed member of the Queens College Old Girls’ community, on the loss of her beloved mother.
The organisations prayed that Almighty God would grant the family the strength, comfort and fortitude to bear this great loss, while asking Him to bless every member of the family with long life, good health, peace and abundant grace in the years ahead.
In the words of our Lord Jesus Christ:
“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” — John 11:25
It is also our prayer that the gentle soul of Mrs. Kofoworola Aduke Osinloye will find eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord, where there is neither sorrow nor pain, but everlasting peace.
Special Appreciation to the OGQC Class of 1974
A special word of appreciation goes to the representatives of the Old Girls’ Queens College (OGQC) Class of 1974, whose unwavering support, compassion and solidarity brought great comfort to Mrs. Kunbi Osinloye-Amachree and her family throughout the funeral ceremonies.

Their presence at the Service of Songs, Wake-Keeping and Funeral Service reflected the enduring bond of sisterhood and lifelong friendship that defines the Queens College alumni community. Their commitment, despite their personal and professional engagements, was a remarkable demonstration of loyalty, empathy and shared humanity.
Such a thoughtful gesture deserves special commendation and serves as a shining example of the values of unity, friendship and selfless support that continue to distinguish the OGQC Class of 1974.
