LAGOS — ÀÀJÒ Hospitality Group has announced the official opening of Shore by Sailors, a new waterfront dining and lifestyle destination in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

The venue is scheduled to open to the public on Friday, August 14, 2026, bringing together premium cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, curated entertainment, elegant design and hospitality in a waterfront setting.

According to the hospitality group, Shore by Sailors has been designed as more than a restaurant, with the aim of creating a destination that reflects Lagos’ energy while combining international hospitality standards with authentic Nigerian culture.

Speaking ahead of the opening, Seemon Manimel, Group General Manager of ÀÀJÒ Hospitality Group, said the project represents the company’s broader ambition to elevate hospitality standards across Africa.

“Shore by Sailors represents more than a new dining destination,” Manimel said, adding that the company seeks to create internationally recognised luxury experiences while celebrating African identity, culture and service.

Manimel brings more than two decades of international hospitality experience, including senior operational roles with Marriott International, Hilton, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts and Kempinski.

The vision for the destination is led by Eyitayo Fakehinde, Managing Director of ÀÀJÒ Hospitality Group, whose broader ambition is to establish one of Africa’s respected hospitality companies while creating employment opportunities for young Nigerians.

The group said Shore by Sailors reflects its philosophy, “We Genuinely Care,” with emphasis on people, local talent, service excellence and memorable guest experiences.

As Lagos continues to strengthen its position as a major commercial and lifestyle hub, Shore by Sailors is expected to attract residents, business professionals, international visitors and diners seeking a refined waterfront experience.
