KING CHARLES REPORTEDLY HOPES PRINCE HARRY AND WILLIAM CAN REUNITE
King Charles is reportedly hopeful that Prince Harry’s return to the United Kingdom could create an opportunity for him to reconnect with his family, particularly his elder son, Prince William.
A source close to the Royal Household told People magazine that the King would be pleased to have Harry around and hopes the brothers can eventually rebuild their relationship.
According to the source, King Charles wants to see his two sons together again, describing Harry’s return to the UK as one of the strongest opportunities in recent years for such a reunion.
Harry, 41, and William, 45, have reportedly remained estranged for some time, with their relationship becoming increasingly strained following Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step back from royal duties in 2020.
The tension was further heightened by the couple’s public comments about members of the Royal Family, as well as revelations contained in Harry’s memoir.
Despite the ongoing rift, the reported hope within the Royal Household is that Harry’s presence in the UK could eventually help ease tensions and create room for reconciliation between the brothers.
The source’s comments come amid renewed attention on Harry’s relationship with his family and speculation over whether his return could mark the beginning of a gradual improvement in relations with King Charles and Prince William.
