Mama Maria Oyinlola Adekanola, born February 23, 1932, peacefully departed this world on May 28, 2025 — closing a chapter rich in faith, humility, and unconditional love. A great mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was a true Mother in Israel whose life testified to the beauty of godliness and grace.
Mama Maria lived with a heart as vast as heaven’s mercy — compassionate, understanding, and generous to a fault. Her hands were open to bless, her lips ever ready to pray, and her spirit steadfast in Christ. Through decades of quiet service, she mirrored the virtues of a Proverbs 31 woman, walking humbly with God and touching countless lives with her warmth and wisdom.
Today, as she journeys home, we celebrate not a loss, but a legacy — a woman who lived well, loved deeply, and left behind a fragrance of goodness that will never fade. Her memory will remain a lamp to guide, a song of faith that echoes eternally.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother;
a woman of prayer whose faith never wavered,
whose hands gave without measure,
and whose smile carried the peace of God.
She lived the Omoluabi spirit — honourable, kind, and steadfast —
a beacon of virtue in her family, her church, and her community.
Truly, “her children rise up and call her blessed” (Proverbs 31:28).
Her Legacy Lives On
Mama Maria’s life was a melody of service —
every act of kindness, a note in God’s eternal song.
Her home was an altar of warmth, her words a balm of grace.
