A Glorious Home-Going Tribute

In Loving Memory of

Mama Maria Oyinlola Adekanola (1932 – 2025)

A Life of Grace and Faith

Born on February 23, 1932, and called to eternal rest on May 28, 2025,

Mama Maria Oyinlola Adekanola lived a life wrapped in love, humility, and faith.

A Mother in Israel, a pillar of quiet strength — she walked gently through this world,

yet left deep footprints of compassion and goodness in every heart she touched.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother;

a woman of prayer whose faith never wavered,

whose hands gave without measure,

and whose smile carried the peace of God.

She lived the Omoluabi spirit — honourable, kind, and steadfast —

a beacon of virtue in her family, her church, and her community.

Truly, “her children rise up and call her blessed” (Proverbs 31:28).

Her Legacy Lives On

Mama Maria’s life was a melody of service —

every act of kindness, a note in God’s eternal song.

Her home was an altar of warmth, her words a balm of grace.

In her, we saw the gentleness of Christ,

the faith of a saint, and the heart of a true disciple.

She did not live for herself but for others —

lifting, healing, giving, and praying until her final breath.

Her legacy endures in the hearts she nurtured,

the lives she touched,

and the faith she so faithfully passed on.

A Prayer of Rest
