The Anambra Patriots for Soludo (APS), a support group for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election, has vowed to secure an overwhelming victory in the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State. During a meeting in Nise, Awka South Local Government Area, where residents from both wards pledged unanimous support, APS Chairman Chief Damian Ejiamatu donated N2 million for grassroots mobilization and promised an additional N2 million to bolster campaign efforts.
He urged members of other political parties under the Renewed Hope coalition to integrate into APS and dismantle their former party structures within a week to ensure no votes are lost to opponents. Chief Bonny Ebutu praised Ejiamatu’s leadership and philanthropy, encouraging Nise residents to align with the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Anambra APGA Chairman Ifatu Obiokoye lauded Ejiamatu’s efforts, calling him a key stakeholder and expecting 99.9 percent of Nise’s votes for Soludo. Deputy Governor Onyekachukwu Ibezim also commended Ejiamatu’s mobilization, stating that Nise is secured for Soludo’s re-election.
