On October 17, 2025, Imo State Governor and APC Governors’ Forum Chairman Hope Uzodimma declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Nigeria’s sole political force during an APC stakeholders’ meeting in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State. He credited President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for driving economic recovery through reforms aimed at reconstructing and rebuilding Nigeria, with visible impacts nationwide.
Uzodimma hailed Tinubu’s fuel subsidy removal for boosting government revenue and praised the youth empowerment initiative targeting 1,000 artisans per electoral ward to reduce poverty. He noted the APC’s growing appeal, attracting senators, lawmakers, and governors due to Tinubu’s leadership.
Kebbi Governor Nasir Idris reaffirmed the state’s loyalty to the APC and Tinubu, pledging support for the party’s success in 2027. The meeting focused on strengthening party unity, consolidating Tinubu’s achievements, and expanding APC’s reach. Uzodimma commended the unity of Kebbi leaders, including Senators Adamu Aliero and Atiku Bagudu, as a sign of political maturity.
