The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its “Adjusted APC 2026 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses, National Convention and Related Activities,” outlining timelines for ward, local government, state, zonal congresses, and the party’s national convention.
Issued from the party’s National Secretariat, Buhari House, Wuse II, Abuja, the document was drawn up “pursuant to the provisions of Article 11:4 sub-section (i–xiii), and Article 17(i) of our Party’s Constitution,” according to the APC.
The timetable details the planned sequence of activities across wards, local government areas (LGAs), states, and zones to elect party officials.
At the ward and local government level, membership e-registration is scheduled from Saturday, January 31 to Sunday, February 8, 2026, while the notice of congresses to State and FCT chapters is fixed for Monday, February 2, 2026.
The purchase and submission of forms for Ward and LGA congresses will take place from Wednesday, February 4 to Monday, February 9, 2026, followed by the inauguration of Ward/LGA Congresses Screening/Screening Appeals Committee on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
Screening of aspirants for Ward and LGA positions will run from Wednesday, February 11 to Thursday, February 12, 2026, with Ward Congresses scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, 2026, and LGA Congresses, including election of three female representatives to the National Convention, set for Saturday, February 21, 2026. Appeals arising from LGA congresses are scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026.
At the state level, purchase of forms for State Executive Committee positions will hold from Sunday, February 22 to Wednesday, February 25, 2026, while State Congresses are slated for Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
For zonal and national activities, the purchase and submission of forms for Zonal Congresses and National Convention will take place from Thursday, March 12 to Monday, March 16, 2026, with Zonal Congresses across the six geopolitical zones scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The zonal venues include:

The party’s National Convention will hold on Friday, March 27 to Saturday, March 28, 2026.
The APC also released the prescribed fees for participation:

Ward level: Expression of Interest – ₦5,000; Ward Chairman – ₦20,000; Ward Secretary/Treasurer – ₦15,000; Ward Vice Chairmen and Other Officers – ₦15,000.

LGA level: Expression of Interest – ₦10,000; LGA Chairman – ₦100,000; other LGA offices – ₦50,000 each.

State level: Expression of Interest – ₦50,000; State Chairman – ₦1,000,000; State Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer – ₦500,000.

Zonal level: Expression of Interest – ₦100,000; Zonal Officers – ₦200,000.

National level: Expression of Interest – ₦100,000; National Chairman – ₦10,000,000; Deputy National Chairmen (N&S) and National Secretary – ₦7,500,000.
The party also clarified that female aspirants, youth, and physically challenged candidates will pay the Expression of Interest fee and 50% of the prescribed nomination fee for each position.
