As part of its preparations for the upcoming July 12 local government elections in Lagos State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Hon. Babatunde Ogala, former National Legal Adviser of the party and ex-member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, as chairman of its Electoral Committee.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Monday by the APC’s spokesperson, Hon. Oluseye Oladejo.

Alongside Ogala, Mr. Babarinde Nurudeen has been named the secretary of the committee.

Oladejo stated that the committee will be responsible for overseeing all processes and activities leading to the conduct of the grassroots elections. He emphasized that the appointments were made in recognition of the appointees’ vast experience and called on party members and stakeholders to support the committee to ensure the APC’s success at the polls.
Headlinenews.news congratulates B.K. Ogala and the members of the Electoral Committee. We wish them the very best and hope they will succeed in using this opportunity to unite the APC and ensure women representation is impressive. It is important for political parties to start giving more opportunities to female aspirants to add value to the quality of governance at all levels.
We wish you the very best.
