Dangote Petroleum Refinery has further reduced the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, from N835 to N825 per litre.
This latest price cut follows last month’s adjustment, when the 650,000 barrels-per-day facility lowered the gantry price from N865 to N835 per litre. The new reduction is aimed at offering greater value to customers and reinforcing the refinery’s competitive edge in Nigeria’s domestic fuel market.
Industry experts believe the move could result in a drop in pump prices nationwide—provided retail marketers transfer the benefit to end users.
