Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped Hon. Denty Laven, a member of the Plateau State House of Assembly representing Pankshin South Constituency, from his residence in the Dong area of Jos North LGA.
The abduction comes amid ongoing security challenges in Plateau State. Just last week, gunmen attacked the same Dong community, abducting a National Youth Service Corps member and a University of Jos student from the home of Solomon Dansura around 10 p.m.
As of now, neither state authorities nor the Plateau State Police Command have issued an official statement confirming the incident.
