A massive fire outbreak has reportedly destroyed and damaged several houses within the Ogun State Guangdong Free Trade Zone in Igbesa, Ogun State, throwing residents into panic.
The incident was said to have occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning after a gas explosion at a foam-producing company located inside the industrial park. The explosion sparked a fierce inferno that quickly spread to nearby residential buildings and facilities within the area.

Eyewitnesses said the fire spread rapidly due to the presence of highly flammable materials, leaving many residents with little time to salvage their belongings. Thick smoke was seen billowing into the sky as flames engulfed affected structures.

Men of the Ogun State Fire Service were later seen at the scene battling the fire in an effort to contain it and prevent further destruction. Emergency responders worked to bring the situation under control as residents watched anxiously.
