Breaking: NLC, Activists March in Lagos Demanding End to Rising Insecurity
Lagos erupted on Wednesday as the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), joined by civil society groups, marched from Ikeja to the State Government House, protesting the country’s worsening security situation.
Carrying banners reading “End Insecurity Now!” and “Security is a Fundamental Human Right,” protesters called on the government to act swiftly against kidnappings, killings, and violent crimes.
Workers, activists, and residents joined the march, underscoring nationwide frustration over repeated attacks and the perceived failure of authorities to safeguard lives and property.
