BREAKING: NNPCL REDUCES FUEL price by N80

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has lowered its petrol price for the third time this December. A DAILY POST correspondent who visited Abuja filling stations on Thursday confirmed that the price of petrol at NNPCL outlets has dropped from ₦915 to ₦835 per liter, reflecting an ₦80 reduction.

Earlier, fuel marketers such as MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano had adjusted their pump prices in the capital, with rates now ranging from ₦739 to ₦865 per liter.

According to DAILY POST, the latest price cuts by NNPCL and other stations follow reductions by Dangote Refinery and depot operators, who recently set ex-depot prices between ₦699 and ₦800 per liter.

This marks the third petrol price adjustment by NNPCL and other filling stations in December, following previous reductions on December 4 and 10, 2025.
