President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dismissed the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, and the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, alongside the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy. According to the statement, the Defence ministers were relieved of their duties due to their failure to curb the persistent killings of innocent Nigerians across the country.
The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, was also removed over his inability to significantly improve the country’s power supply during his tenure.
