BREAKING: Tinubu Meets Fubara in Closed-Door Session in Abuja Post-Emergency Rule.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently engaged in a private meeting with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara at the State House in Abuja.

The discussion comes after Governor Fubara resumed office on September 19, following the lifting of a six-month state of emergency in Rivers State. The emergency, declared in March, was lifted last week by President Tinubu due to notable progress in restoring peace and stability in the state.

The agenda of the meeting has not been disclosed at the time of this report.

Earlier, President Tinubu held separate meetings with key figures, including Kwara State Governor and Nigeria Governors Forum Chairman AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, Imo State Governor and Progressive Governors Forum Chairman Senator Hope Uzodimma, House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abass, FIRS Executive Chairman Zacch Adedeji, and Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Wale Edun, among others.
