Human rights activist Dele Farotimi has described Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, the former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, as the most honorable member of President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet following his resignation on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Nnaji stepped down amid allegations of forging documents submitted during his ministerial screening, as reported by Daily Post Nigeria.
In a post on X, Farotimi commended Nnaji’s decision to resign, urging other government officials facing similar forgery accusations to follow his example. “I don’t know him, and I no send am.
BUT this guy is more honorable than every other person in the cabinet from which he has ‘honorably’ resigned,” Farotimi wrote. He also questioned when other officials, including “the aspiring Hitler of Obiakpor,” would resign, referencing the precedent set by Nnaji.
