Controversial TikToker DJ Chicken has reportedly been involved in a serious accident in Shagamu after allegedly driving under the influence. Eyewitnesses claimed the entertainer hit a bike rider and a lady, leaving both victims critically injured. Following the crash, an angry mob descended on DJ Chicken, beating him severely before authorities intervened.
Sources at the scene expressed concern over the condition of the bike rider, who was feared dead. Witnesses described the DJ’s driving as careless as usual, noting that just days earlier, he had gone viral for controversial behavior during a TikTok live session. Even after being given a “new make-up” from the beating, DJ Chicken was seen shaking hands with one of the men attacking him, who in turn slapped his face with his leg.
The incident has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many social media users urging celebrities to act responsibly and avoid reckless behavior. Sharing the video, an Instagram influencer identified as Tufab wrote:

> “They are hoping that the bike man isn’t dead. This happened at Shagamu! Omo, he don enter am today. Him body go calm down now. Just three days ago he was on TikTok doing nonsense. Life comes at you quickly. Be responsible — you say no. Juju didn’t protect you this time.”
Tufab further commented:
> “Omo, he no believe say dem fit beat am. That shows how comfortable he’s gotten with his recklessness and escaping consequences. Maybe destiny brought this accident to the streets so he can learn, since him and accidents are best friends. I hope he learns.”
Another user, doc_concepts, added:
> “Sad though, but this guy isn’t okay. Drug abuse plus carelessness. They’ve given him a small face-lift. Hope no one died in the accident. He needs to learn.”

The shocking scene in Shagamu serves as a stark reminder of how quickly reckless behavior can spiral into tragedy. Lives are now on the line, a man is badly beaten, and a community is demanding answers. Authorities and medical teams must prioritize the victims’ care and conduct a proper investigation, while social media mobs should not substitute for justice.
What do you think — does mob justice help deter reckless celebrities, or does it make matters worse? What should be the proper immediate response after such an accident?
