بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
الحمد لله ربّ العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على سيدنا محمدٍ وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين.
Ya Allah, on this first Jummah of December, the final month of this year, we raise our hands to You — the One who hears every whisper and knows every need.
Protection & Guidance Until the End of Our Lives
اَللّٰهُمَّ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
(O Allah, guide us to the Straight Path)
— Surah Al-Fātiha (1:6)
Ya Rabb, guide us through the remaining days of this year, protect us in the coming year, and bless every year until our final breath.
Do not leave us to ourselves even for the blink of an eye.
Surround us with Your hifdh (divine protection) and keep us firm on iman until our last moment in this world.
Blessings & Mercy as We Obey Him
وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ
(My mercy encompasses all things) — Qur’an 7:156
Ya Ar-Rahman, as we strive to comply with Your expectations and conditions, shower us with Your mercy, blessings, barakah, and openings.
Do not deprive us of goodness because of our shortcomings.
Purify our intentions, strengthen our hearts, and make our obedience beloved to us.
Protection From Evil
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ
(O Allah, we ask You for safety and well-being)
— Hadith (Tirmidhi)
Ya Allah, protect us from the evil of what we see and what we do not see.
Protect our families, our homes, our children, our loved ones, and our future generations.
Place a shield of light around us:
حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
(Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs) — Qur’an 3:173
Good Health, Long Life, and Wisdom
اَللّٰهُمَّ اشْفِ مَرْضَانَا وَارْحَمْ ضُعْفَنَا وَقَوِّ إِيمَانَنَا
(O Allah, heal our sick, have mercy on our weakness, and strengthen our faith)
Ya Shāfī, grant us good health, strong bodies, clear minds, and a heart that finds peace in Your remembrance.
Grant us wisdom that leads to goodness, choices that bring blessings, and lives that reflect Your guidance.
Prayer for the Year’s End
Ya Allah, let the end of this year be better than its beginning,
and let the coming year be filled with light, mercy, protection, halal provision, forgiveness, and success.
Replace our fears with courage, our confusion with clarity, our burdens with relief, and our hopes with fulfillment.
A Final Supplication
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
(Our Lord, give us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire)
— Qur’an 2:201
اللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ.
