The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has identified 41 properties linked to Abubakar Malami, the former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice.

The assets—which include hotels, residential buildings, plots of land, schools, and a printing press—are located across Kebbi, Kano, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
In Kebbi, the properties are valued at about N162.2 billion, while those in Kano are estimated at N16 billion, and FCT assets are worth around N34.7 billion. Most of these were reportedly acquired during his eight-year tenure in office.

Additionally, the federal government has filed a 16-count charge of money laundering against Malami and his son, Abdulaziz Malami.
