Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose praised Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s recent nomination form submission in Abuja as a bold demonstration of political dominance.
Fayose predicted that Oyebanji would not only match his record of winning all 16 Local Government Areas but surpass it by capturing all 177 wards in the upcoming election. Accompanied by prominent political figures, Oyebanji’s move signals no vacancy in the Ekiti Government House until 2030, according to Fayose. Despite not being an APC member, Fayose unapologetically supports Oyebanji and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He noted that the submission, though perhaps excessive, clearly reflects Ekiti’s political alignment. Fayose urged Oyebanji to maintain his focus on good governance and delivering democratic benefits to Ekiti’s people until 2030, dismissing challengers as insignificant and fleeting.
