On October 16, 2025, George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), reaffirmed the federal government’s dedication to strengthening ties with the private sector to drive sustainable economic growth. Speaking during a meeting with a delegation from the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and the Organised Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN), led by President Jani Ibrahim, in Abuja, Akume highlighted the pivotal role of public-private collaboration in unlocking Nigeria’s economic potential.
